I dumped my stuff in my locker and turned to the mirror on the inside of the door. I re-applied my lipgloss as I spoke. "So, whaddya got next?"

"er... um... Does it matter?" I asked. I sorted my hair out and checked my phone.

"Right answer!" I chirped, finishing my lipgloss and fixing my hair. "We're ditching and going to the mall." I announced.

"Yay!" I said, going to my locker at the otherside of the hall and pulling out a bag that held some casual clothes.

I pulled my purse out of my locker and dusted off my uniform, closing my locker and following Katie to her locker.

"Should I change?" I asked, holding out the clear bag so you could see the outfit inside.

I eyed the outfit. "Definitely. That outfit is fantabulous!" I chirped enthusiastically.

"Okay!" I said walked across the hall and forward abit to the girls bathroom and went in. I went into one of the stalls and changed. I exited the bathroom in my new outfit.

I leaned against the locker next to Katie's while I waited for her to change, earning the desired wolf-whistles and smirks from the guys as they walked past. When Katie exited the bathroom, I cheered and skipped foward, linking my arm with hers. "Let's go shopping!"

"Yeah!" I said and winked at a few boys who double taked me not in my uniform. We exited the school and headed for my pink convertable. "I want to drive!" I said, hopping into the drivers seat.

"Sure thing, hon." I smiled, sliding into the passenger seat of Katie's car.

I got in, "Seatbelts!" I said and clipped mine in. I waited until Carly did hers then I pressed down the peddle but the car was in drive so it went forward and not backwards. "Carly! The car is going the wrong way!" I shouted.

(OMG how does she get to school... wait how does she have a license?!)

"Katie moment!" I announced and shifted the gear so that it was in reverse. "There ya' go." I smiled. "Try it now."

"That is so cool!" I said as the car went backwards. "How'd you do that?" I asked.

I tapped the stick with one finger. "You see those letters? They don't read PRNDL, they stand for park, reverse, neutral, drive and low." I explained, remembering what my driving instructor had to tell me everyday. "So throw it into reverse or 'r' and you go back!"

"Oh my gosh! I didn't know that!" I said, flipping it back and forth. I then pressed the peddle and drove out of school. I headed for the mall.

I hopped out of the pink car when Katie stopped at the mall. I stopped and turned back to face her, pointing to the gearstick. "into park." I instructed, laughing.

"Where's that button?" I asked pulling the keys and getting out. I put the keys in my pocket and turned to her.

I sighed and leaned over, moving the stick into 'p' for park. I was aware that my skirt was probably showing more than it should, but I didn't care. My suspicions were confirmed when she heard a horn blare behind her and a wolf-whistle from the car. "There you go." I smiled, skipping back to Katie.

"Thankyou... Oh and I think those dude's are hitting on you." I said and skipping over to the car. "Want her number because you both seem pretty interested in her" I asked.
"Yeah, of course. And you know... you could give us yours too..." One said.
"Okay! Here, I said pulling a sharpie out of my purse and pulling his arm out and writing our numbers on it. "There" I said, smiling.
"Thanks.. Call you later" He answered and I skipped away.

I laughed as Katie gave the strangers our numbers. I winked and waved as the dudes drove off. I linked my arm with Katie's again and strode toward the mall.
