Kurt's Dorm Room

Becca listened silently to the radio as she drove. It felt good to be out of Lima for a while. Away from the baby drama and judgements. The brunette's mind wandered as she drove, thinking of trivial things like glee club practice and the sneakers she saw in a store at the mall last weekend. Eventually, though, her mind found it's way back to the bigger things. Her father, her baby, her problems. Becca sighed and shook her head, concentrating on the road and the music. Maroon 5's 'This Love' trilled through the speakers as she turned off the freeway, seeing the sign for Westerville.

Over the past couple of weeks, while Becca gradually cut herself off from anybody at McKinley bar Jade, Quinn and Puck, Becca had become closer to Kurt via IM and texts. And the odd coffee shop meet. So, this weekend, Becca had decided to visit her friends at Dalton, Kurt and Blaine. But mostly Kurt. It felt good to be anywhere as long as it was away from her home. The past weeks had been spent avoiding her father and only leaving her bedroom to--reluctantly--go to school. As soon as she was off the freeway, Becca was lost and had to concentrate a little more on the signs directing her to Dalton Academy for Boys.

Becca had a panicked thought. She was going to see Kurt. Kurt Hummel. The biggest fashion diva that the brunette had ever met. And she was dressed like a hobo. Well, compared to Kurt. She was wearing her oversized New Directions hoodie with sneakers. She was going to wear baggy pants, too, but she did have some respect for fashion. So she had decided on jeans. The teen's brunette hair fell limply over her shoulders and the bags under her eyes could have stored enough food to feed the national army.

This bothered Becca for a few seconds before she remembered that she didn't give a shit. The voice on the radio became dull and monotone and Becca flipped the switch to 'CD audio'. Jason Derülo started playing and she sighed quietly. Not exactly the music she wanted but it would do. Following the signs closely, Becca slowly got closer to Dalton Academy. She could see the building to the left and immediately, her excitement of being around people who didn't know was reignited. She self-conciously looked down at her stomach when she thought of the baby. But, her faithful hoodie kept any evidence hidden.

The huge building of Dalton Academy crept closer until Becca found herself in the visitors parking lot. She pulled up her hood, unsure if she was even allowed to visit an all-boys school but Kurt and Blaine had no problem with her visiting so she guessed it wasn't an issue. The brunette got out of the car and ducked her head as she walked briskly across the lot to the residential rooms. She pulled out her cell to check the room number that had been emailed to her by Kurt. '207'. She walked along each hallway until she found it, turning off her phone--she did not want a call from her father--she knocked the door quietly.

Kurt was sitting on his bed, watching his computer screen with a smile. He was Skypeing Blaine who was only in the upstairs corridor but was under room arrest by Wes and David until he helped them with their various problems. "You're not a psychiatrist, Blaine, you can't deal with their problems." Kurt quipped sarcastically, tapping his head. "Bu-Door. That'll be Becca. Good luck, Blaine. You're going to need it." He laughed quietly and closed the laptop. The time it took for Kurt to get to the door was spent getting his crush on Blaine out of his system. Well, for now. He pulled open the door and smiled a little before his face entirely dropped. "What are you wearing?" He asked, stunned that could abuse fashion in this way. Kurt shook his head slightly and smiled again.

Becca painted on the same bright smile she had since the news had gotten out. "Hey Kurt!" She replied but then sighed. "I know. What's happening to me?" She joked, pulling down her hood, she stepped around Kurt and into his room. She smiled once more. "Anyway! What's going on here? Where's Blaine? What's the gossip at Dalton?" She rambled, sitting on the edge of Kurt's roommate's bed.

Kurt quirked an eyebrow skeptically, striding across the room to the chair at his vanity. He guessed his friend would get to the point soon enough or he'd push her for details but for now he settled on answering Becca's questions. "Everything is so busy here. Since we lost Regionals--congratulations, by the way--The Warblers have had numerous performances at the old people's home at the strip mall." Kurt replied sarcastically, crossing his legs and folding his hands on his knees. when the conversation turned to Blaine--his favourite subject--Kurt became more interested in the conversation. "Blaine's under room arrest. I've already told Wes that he needs to be let out by six--you're not going home until you've seen him in the new outfit I bought him." Kurt beamed excitedly.

Becca smiled at Kurt, glad he was so excited about his life at Dalton. He'd certainly perked up since He moved away from the business with Karofsky. When Kurt mentioned Blaine and outfits, Becca laughed quietly but facepalmed. "Please don't tell me you've been torturing Blaine with fashion?" She said dramatically.
