PROM NIGHT!

Quinn sat at her vanity carefully inspecting her perfect make-up and hair. There was a limo coming to her house to pick her up in 20 minutes and then . She still had to slip her dress on without ruining her hair. She decided now or never so slipped it over her hair carefully and arranged it around her body. She put her heels on and laid her clutch on the table near her bed room door.

20 minutes was soon up and she got up to say goodbye to her mother. She quickly looked in the mirror before heading down the stairs where her mother was stood waiting. She quickly took pictures before saying, "Your rides here. You look beautiful" Quinn blushed and said, "Thank you. Mom. Seriously. I love you." Quinn carefully hugged her before heading out of the door and into the limo. She pulled out her phone and text Sam, Becca and Puck to say she was setting off. The driver was going to Sam's then Becca's then Puck's and then the school so Quinn had quite a while to wait before her prom dream would come true.

Quinn sat patiently in the limo. The driver didn't speak but she poured herself some champagne from the glasses near her. She curled up in the corner with her phone cradled in her lap. She looked out of the window constantly until she finally saw Sam's house come up in the distance. She breathed a sigh of relief as the limo pulled to a stop outside his house. She quickly sat up again and pulled out her mini mirror to check her hair and make-up before her boyfriend got in. He hadn't seen her dress of anything yet. She had just said that it was turquoise and red accessories.

Becca debated internally whether or not to change her heels for sneakers, she usually failed in sneakers anyway. Eventually, she decided that sneakers would look dumb so she kept her place on the step and kept her heels on. She shivered slightly in the cold night air. She glanced up every now and again in case she'd missed the approach of the limo. She hadn't. She looked up at the stars with a smile.

Quinn waited as the car came to a stop outside of Sam's house. She saw the door open and Sam walked out in his black tux. Quinn smiled at how cute he looked in the lighting and couldn't wait until he got in the limo so she could see in actual light.

She watched him walk back in the house and so she pulled out her emergency make-up bag and re-applied her lip gloss and powdered her nose. She sorted through her short, curled hair to make sure there wasn't a hair out of place before putting her mirror and emergency make-up bag away and arranging her dress around her. She text Becca to say, 'Just outside Sam's house. See you in 10 -Q xo'
She peered out the darkened glass again and smiled at the image she saw.

Becca heard her cell trill again and she took it out of her clutch-purse. She didn't need to read it to know it would be Quinn. She opened the text and hit 'r' to compose a reply. 'Awesome. Ready & waiting <3 See you soon xoxo -Becca' She hit enter and opened a new message to Puck. 'Quinn & Sam are on their way xx be with you in 15 <3 xx'. The brunette hit send once again and Clutched her cell in her free hand, waiting anxiously for the arrival of her friends.

Sam smiled again at his siblings and crouched again so his voice didn't carry through to his father who was sleeping, his mother however was awake and ready to look after the twins. Just for one night. "Now, go back to bed," He murmured to his siblings lovingly. "And if you're good for mom, I'll ask Quinn to come show you her shiny Prom Queen crown and her dress. Deal?" He added seriously. The two children agreed, although Sam kind of wondered why his brother had been so easily won over by a dress and a tiara... The blonde shook his head and stepped outside again, pulling the door closed behind him. Jogging down the front steps, Sam made his way to the car, the door opened for him by the driver, and slipped inside quietly. The jock stayed silent for a few moments as his eyes fell on Quinn. "Y-You look... Wow." He managed eventually as the driver began driving again.

Quinn smiled at his response to her appearance. "And you look very handsome." She murmured as the car started moving. She couldn't wait to get to the prom. She had been waiting her whole life for this one night... one night that couldn't go wrong. She just wouldn't allow it. She leaned over to where he was sat not too far away from her and kissed him on the lips. She pulled back after a few minutes and said, "I texted Becca to say we would be about 10 minutes."

Quinn smiled as he pressed his lips to hers once more before taking her hand and leaning back. She unlocked her phone and went onto the camera. She lent back so her head was next to his, she smiled and took the picture before setting it as her background and locked her phone again. She spun the bracelets around she had on her wrists around and around.

"Is something wrong?" Quinn said and turned to face Sam. She could feel him staring at her but thought he was just staring at her because she was his girlfriend or something but then she realized he hadn't said anything. "Because you haven't said anything and your staring." She added and pulled a mirror out of her clutch again. She re-checked her make-up and added a little eye-liner to both eyes before checking her hair again.

Quinn laughed. "That was kind of the aim..." She mumbled and lifted his face up again. "Don't hide your face. You look cute when you pull that expression." She teased but she was telling the truth.

Sam flushed when Quinn said he looked cute. Though, the dim lighting in the car did it's best to hide it. The music drifted through the speakers and Sam dipped his head again, but this time to press a soft kiss to Quinn's cheek.

Becca hummed quietly as she waited for her friends to arrive. She stared at the stars in the sky, glancing every now and again to the end of the road where she expected a limousine to round the corner.

Quinn smiled as Sam's lips lightly brushed against her cheek and she lent her head on his shoulder. She recognized Becca's street and the car coming to a stop. Quinn squeezed Sam's hand and waited for Becca to come in.

When the headlights swung around the corner, Becca watched as it drew nearer, smiling brightly. When the car came to a stop, the brunette decided it was time to get up. The polite driver slipped out of the car again and pulled open the door for Becca. She smiled gratefully and quickly climbed into the car, murmuring a 'thanks' to the driver. Becca beamed at her friends when she saw them embracing in one of the other seats. "Quinn, you look stunning!" She said excitedly. "And Sam, you look very handsome." She added politely with a grin.

"Thanks. So do you Becca and I love your earrings!" Quinn replied sweetly and smiled at Becca as the driver set off again.

Becca smiles sweetly and one of her hands moved up to brush across her earring. "They were my mom's." She noted quietly before dropping her hands back to her lap.

"Oh. Well they are very pretty." Quinn stated smiling and then shifting uncomfortably. She pulled the skirt of her dress down because it was 3 quarters of the way up her thigh when it was meant to be just above the knee.

**AT THE PROM**

The driver pulled the limo to the last stop outside the school. Becca slid to the end of her seat and brushed down her dress a little and heard the dull click as the door was opened from the outside. Becca, hand linked with Puck's, slipped out of the car closely followed by her date. They quickly headed out of the cold an under the small shelter, waiting for Sam and Quinn. Becca bounced slightly in excitement.

Quinn and Sam followed Puck and Becca out of the car and Quinn's jaw dropped when she saw how the school looked. She took a deep breath and squeezed Sam's hand. "It's finally here!" Quinn squealed and dragged Sam towards the entrance.

Becca smiled but remained silent as she followed Quinn and Sam, holding Puck's hand tightly in her own. As soon as they entered the hall, Becca was attacked by color. The entire hall was beautifully decorated--something about it showed Becca hints of Kurt Hummel design.
