Taylor Swift assignment

I was just finishing up at cheerios practice to meet Sam before we both walked to glee club. We was going through our latest routine for about the 10th time and I'm sure everybody was just as tired as me. When we finished we packed our bags and headed for the showers. I had a quick one, careful not to get my hair wet and put on my other uniform I kept in my locker. I didn't like this one as much because it was a different skirt and it was harder to move in than my other one. I walked out of the locker room, holding my lyrics to speak now and walking to the end of the corridor where I would meet Sam. Everyone else would be just finishing up home room or something apart from everyone on a sports team of course...

I arrived at Glee club on time today, which was a first for me. I was listening to mine and finn's chosen taylor swift song, recapping it in my mind. Making sure I knew what I was doing.

I skipped out of home room and walked down the hall toward the choir room. Today was the day the Taylor Swift Assignments would start. Only a few pairs were performing today, though. I opened the door and took a seat close to the back.

I smiled at Becca as I walked in and sat behind her, the only reason I sat behind her was because we where sitting in our partners. "Hey" I said, smiling.

I smiled back at Pippa. "Hey." The bell hadn't long sounded so there weren't too many people here. Pippa, Artie, Kurt and I.

I still didn't know that many people here. Only Becca, Quinn, Finn and Puck. I knew Sam a little but not alot, so I still felt out of place, sort of.

I walked through the door with the football guys. Apart from Sam, of course. He was so whipped. So basically just Mike and Finn. Mike sat on the end of a row of seats and Tina sat next to him. Finn went to sit next to Pippa and Kurt and Artie were sitting together. I went to sit next to Becca.

When Sam showed I tapped my wrist in a gesture saying we was going to be late and started heading down the hall towards glee club. When we came to the door I pushed it open, I kept my hand on it to hold it open for Sam as we both strode in. I took my seat at the back of the class and put my piece of paper on the floor under my chair.

I waved at Quinn when she came in, smiling. I also said "Hey" to Finn when he sat down beside me. As Rachel came in she glared at me again. What was her problem??

I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing at Rachel. "Hey," I smiled at Noah. He smiled back and I heard a wolf-whistle from one of the guys. I turned to see Finn. I poked my tongue out at him childishly.

I waved back at Pippa when I walked in and had to hold back a giggle when Finn wolf-whistled.

I glared at Finn. "I'm gonna beat the holy crap outta your ass, Hudson." Rachel glared at me and I rolled my eyes and held my hands up. "I'm not the one who risked the glee club to steal a frickin' ATM." Finn retorted. Lame. I was let out, wasn't I? ... Eventually.

When everyone was here, Mr Schue came in. "Alright guys! Has everyone prepared their assignments? "Um, Mr Schue? Mercedes is out sick today." Santana piped up. "Yeah, she got stomach flu." Tina added.

"Oh, uh, Santana, you and Mercedes can perform when she gets back. In the meantime... Puck, Becca, would you mind filling in for them today?" Yes... "No." I answered with a smile. Mr Schue smiled at us and rubbed his hands together. "Alright. So first, Pippa and Finn then Becca and Puck, Kurt and Artie then Quinn and Mike?" He checked that that was okay with everyone.

"Excellent!" Mr Schue enthused. "Okay, Quinn, why don't you go first?" He smiled and took a seat between Finn and Artie. I smiled at Quinn--I hadn't known she'd prepared a solo.

"ehm.. Okay" I said standing up and walking to the band people. I whispered what song and took a spot.

Half way through the song I looked at everyone and then back at Sam, I smiled.

I smiled at Quinn when her eyes scanned us. I looked at Sam who was beaming, looking down a lot more than usual, clearly embarrassed at being serenaded. I was sitting behind Sam so I kicked his chair for him to get up when Quinn finished. I cheered for her and Brittany fist-pumped the air.

"Rachel," I whispered. "lighten up. She wasn't singing to your boyfriend." Unlike Pippa. I laughed quietly.

"Uh, Mr Schue?" Finn said. "Can Puck and Becca perform first? I gotta go." Mr Schue-along with most of the glee club-laughed. "Sure, Finn. Puck, Becca, you're up!" I smiled at Noah and got up and wandered down the steps to the middle of the choir room. Noah went to collect a guitar from the band.

I giggled quietly at Quinn and Noah started playing.

I laughed at Quinn and high-fived Noah before wandering back to my seat. Finn came back into the room and took his seat again, too.
